We are a church that loves to walk with Christ and reflect his character in everything we do. We love to teach The Word of God, to pray, serve, congregate, worship together, and love the community and the world.
Even though we cannot do many things in person at the moment, we rest in God’s promises. He alone knows and has the plans for his children, and such plans are not to harm us, but to increase our faith and dependency in him and to create Jesus character in us. As for us, we are taking every opportunity to keep advancing The Kingdom.
COVID-19 it is just a reminder that we live in a fallen world of sickness, sin, suffering, and death and none of us are immune to any of these things, but God has not left us alone in this world. He has come to us in the person of Jesus. Jesus lived sinless life, died on a cross to pay the price for our sin, and rose from the grave in victory over sin and death. The greatest news in the entire world!
Anyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Jesus will be forgiven of all their sins and restored to relationship with God forever. Through Jesus we never have to fear sickness or death because we know we have eternal life with God.
In addition, let’s consider how we should respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19):
• Trust in God, Pray for mercy, especially for the sick and for people that are taking care of others.
Look for opportunities to Love and Care for others. Stay Closely Connected to the church family through technology.
• Continue Giving Offerings Faithfully so the ministry of the church thrives all the more in the midst of difficult days. The church needs you more than ever to spread the Gospel of Christ.
We know that the Lord is our strength and protector, our strong shield. While we will not act in fear, we do want to be prepared and wise during this time. We take the health and safety of everyone very seriously.
Reflect often on the brevity of life, the urgency of eternity, and the beauty of the gospel.
